Orphan Relative visa subclasses 107, 837

  • The child must be sponsored by a relative who is an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen. The relative must be either a brother/sister, uncle/aunt, niece/nephew or grandparent.
  • The child must be under 18 years old and have no parents to care for them.
  • All applicants must satisfy health requirements.
  • Applicants 16 years or over must satisfy character requirements.
  • Application can be made inside or outside Australia.
  • This visa provides permanent residence at visa grant.
