Here is the story of the Proctor family. They moved from Mansfield, Notts, England and have now settled in Happy Valley, South Australia. They applied under the visa category Class BN 136 Skilled Independent in September 2006. Their permanent residency was granted to them back in April 2007.

Caron Elliker and Josh live the dream - Skilled Migration

Caron Elliker and her son Josh moved from Clacton On Sea to the Gold Coast, Queensland.  Caron applied as a single mum through the Skilled Migration category as a Pastry Chef in 2007.  Her application was finalised in May 2008 and they moved within months to start their new life downunder.  Read more of their story here



Sharon Willey - Skilled Migration - Hairdresser

Sharon Willey applied as a hairdresser under the Skilled Migration criteria as a hairdresser & vocational instructor.  She moved from Newcastle, UK in 2004 with her husband and two daughers  to live in Brisbane, Queensland.  They had never visited Australia before they actually emigrated!

Shaun & Karen Wilde - Skilled Migration

Shaun & Karen Wilde and their kids Christopher and Sally left the UK to start their new life in Australia in January 2010.

Arriving at this time worked well for the children and commencing the new school year in late January but did drop them into the middle of the Australian summer from the middle of the chilly UK winter!

Shaun and family started the migration process in late 2008, Shaun is an IT professional and so met the requirements for general skilled migration and as he held specializations that were deemed to be in high demand in Australia the whole process was completed and visas granted by July 2009.
