Second Working Holiday Visa

Holders of a working holiday visa may be eligible to apply for a second 1 year visa if they meet certain conditions. You may apply while still the holder of a working holiday visa or at a later date. The general conditions associated with the second working holiday visa are as follows:

• have completed three months of specified work in regional Australia while on your first Working Holiday visa (there is no requirement to do further specified work on the second visa)

• be aged between 18 and 30 years (inclusive) at the time of applying**

• be applying no more than 12 months before you intend to travel to Australia, if applying from outside Australia

• not have accompanying dependent children.

Note: If you have dependent children you will need to apply using the paper application

• be outside Australia when the visa is granted, if applying from outside Australia
• be in Australia when the visa is granted, if applying from in Australia

• hold a passport for a country or region participating with Australia in the Working Holiday program
